September 13 @ 10:59 pmI’m starting my own meme, just because I was thinking about something I did tonight and it occurred to me that I might be a little strange. So here’s the deal, list as many things as you care to that others might find quirky about you. Could be habits that you have or behaviors you’ve noticed in yourself. If you’re reading this, consider yourself tagged!
- One of my indulgences is ice. No, not the kind you make yourself with an ice tray and tap water. I buy a bag of ice when I go grocery shopping and keep it in my freezer. I like ice in my drinks, and I don’t like big, chunky, cubes.
- The stereo in my car has a numerical scale for the volume, so when you turn the knob the display shows a number that represents how loud it is. In my car, it has to be an even number, no odd numbers for volume.
- I don’t like to wear jeans in the house. When I get home from somewhere that I’ve been wearing long pants, I generally head straight to the bedroom to put on shorts. If I’m wearing a button-down shirt, that normally get’s hung up or put in the laundry and a t-shirt goes on. I like to wear leisure clothes around the house I guess and obviously, I don’t entertain much!
- I’m obsessive about e-mail. I check it constantly. I just checked it before writing this entry in the list, right in the middle of typing this blog post. All I had was a MySpace friend request spam.
- I like to read movie credits. I’m annoyed when the audience gets up and leaves at the end of a movie while the credits are rolling, often blocking my view. I don’t read every name, but I do scan the list and occasionally see interesting entries. I also like to see which songs are on the soundtrack. And occasionally you’re pleasantly surprised when the film has a bonus scene after the credits.

Oh Boy, where do I begin? LOL…I’ll have to do this when I get back from my trip, but most of my quirks, are already known..
I like the credits at the movies too, and my DH is always ready to go the split second that last scene ends…sometimes he tries to hurry me out when the characters are still saying the last lines..must beat the crowds you know. This makes me crazy. I missed the bonus scene at the end of the last Pirates movie because of this. That was months ago and I still get irritated when I think about it.

My wife has to see the creditss… over our marriage, she has gotten me to do it as well. Now I won’t get up till the credits are over.
I’m the same way over jeans too. they go off and I put on sweat pants or shorts.
And Email! I have 6 email accounts all for different purposes.

LOL ~ I’ve done a similar meme. I have figured out that I’m just plain odd. I’m a creature of habit, too. I don’t lounge around in jeans at home. Sweats or shorts are so much more comfy.
I always stay for credits, although, it’s been so long since I’ve been in a theatre, I’m not sure I know what that means anymore. LOL

I’m obsessive when it comes to email too, though I hardly get any and I really quit writing as much when I moved to customer service.
We watch movie credits mostly because we get into arguments on who a certain actor was in a movie and we wait to see who was right. I’m about 80% right. LOL

Lol….the volume number needing to be an even number is very OCD! ;o)
As for checking email on a bike (Terry)….easy, check it on a cell phone. :o)

I def. stay for movie credits. I love discovering interesting names.
And, I need to see if the s/t has good songs on it, or “who sang that?”
I hate pants. I’m in shorts if I have anything to say about it. Not fond of jeans at all.
I can’t drink pop unless it’s icy cold.
