We spotted the ocean, At the head of the trail
Where are we goin’, So far away
And somebody told me, That this is the place
Where everything’s better, And everything’s safe
CHORUS:
Walk on the ocean, Step on the stones
Flesh becomes water, Wood becomes bone
Half an hour later, We packed up our things
Said we’d send letters, And all of those little things
And they knew we were lyin’, But they smiled just the same
It seemed they’d already, Forgotten we came
(CHORUS X 2)
Now back at the homestead, Where the air makes you choke
And people don’t know you, And trust is a joke
We don’t even have pictures, Just memories to hold
It grows sweeter each season, As we slowly grow old

Oh, I like that. Great lyrics.
It made me think of Maine, for some reason. A-yah.

They can take everything from you. Your home, your car. your posessions, but the one thing you take to your grave is your memories.

Is this for me? I can’t wait to put my feet in the ocean!

Wear a sweater when you put your feet in the ocean, it’s a little colder than your bodies of water down in Texas!
You need to make a list of places you want to take photos of so we can plan some photo safaris once you get settled in Seattle!

OOH OHH!! TROLL BRIDGE! Marianna HAS to see the Troll Bridge. I never got to see it when I lived there and I’ve always regretted not going to see it. It’ might be a cheezy tourist trap for all I know..but she does have a thing for trolls…and I’d love to see a pic!
That sunset is FABulous Michael! just FABulous!
