February 17 @ 11:11 pmWell technically he was sleeping earlier today too… at least he was when we visited him at the Woodland Park Zoo. Today was forecast to be the one nice day in between two storm fronts moving through the Puget Sound, so Lindsey and I decided it would be a good day to spend some time outside in the fresh air. What better way to than to stroll around the zoo with cameras in hand?

A few more photos over at Flickr!

Love the shot of your daughter and the stone lion. She is so cute! And your other photos are totally awesome. I haven’t been to the zoo down here in a while - - I think we will schedule a Saturday outing there soon.
Thanks for sharing the photos - they’re wonderful!

How fun! How does it feel to actually get out of the house?
Joking, I had no idea Sat was going to be that gorgeous. I would have psyched myself into having the kidlets clean the back yard. Now that would have been fun.

Wow, that’s a great shot of the lion. It’s so crisp and clear. You sure this was in Washington?

What a great picture you took of your daughter. Sounded like a great day. Those are great shots you got of the animals. The colors on the African Wild Dogs are neat.
