How old should kids be when they get their first cell phones? I’d have to answer that as 10 and 15 since mine just got their own phones this weekend. Matt is starting to go out with friends, so it’s nice to be able to have that security blanket. Lindsey isn’t going out or anything but she will occasionally be coming home to an empty house due to my ex’s work schedule, so a little security there too. We’ll see how that all works out…
I finally got around to doing more with radio.blog. I basically stole Leesa’s implementation since I liked it. I’ll probably swap the song out weekly or whenever the mood moves me. Just hit the play button over there on the sidebar to listen to whatever I have queued up.
Ok, I’m off to a friend’s 30th birthday party… young whippersnappers… I need to come up with a really cool theme party idea for my 40th this December. Any suggestions?

I don’t know the appropriate age for cell phones for kids. Back in the day (cuz I’m sooo old! LOL) we didn’t have cell phones!

Have fun at the Bday party. Oh crap. You just reminded me that in 5 years I’ll be 40. Sigh. Now I feel like bawling.

My son, who is 24, remarked that when he was a senior in high school, he knew of only one other kid who had a cell phone, out of a class of several hundred. Nowadays, it’s hard to find ANY high schooler without one.
We just bought our younger son his third cell phone (the second conked out)

5 years? 5 years M? HA! Suck it up woman! I have no sympathy for someone whose got 5 whole years ahead of her before she has to hit the big four oh! HRMPH! ;p

Or… you could theme it to a favorite TV Show. We’re doing a LOST season return party. 
What else… you have to have a cake shaped like your bike tho. That’s a must, yes? lol
You could do a Hawaiian theme. Yummy pineapple ham, mango ice cream, Hawaiian bread, everybody gets lei’d.
