Have I mentioned lately how GREEN everything is up there?! Sigh…
The trike pic ~ down here, a lot of Vets drive the trikes because of old Army injuries. They can’t handle a regular bike, so they buy the trikes & still enjoy the feel of being on a bike without having to hurt their knees, back, etc. Kinda cool!

That’s because we have moisture here… at certain times of year a LOT of it! We pay for that greenery with a very gray winter most years.
Still, this is a beautiful part of the country and I wouldn’t trade it for any place else at the moment.

Wonderful. Loved your travelog. I was wondering what was in Spirit Lake and then I went to your flickr account and saw the close up…
Wow, I wonder. I wonder if you could pull those logs out of the water and use them for something? Of course it may take a year for them to dry out. Anyone die yet trying to walk across the logs and fall in between? I bet some have tried it… :s
