Yeah don’t get too excited… this one is self-powered and doesn’t go anywhere! I finally decided to retire an ancient stair-stepper I ahem… occasionally use for cardio exercise. Frankly I avoid using it, its death on my knees and isn’t very well built in the first place. After looking at what’s available I decided to go with a recumbent exercise bike. I used a similiar model as part of my physical therapy recovering from my broken ankle.
So this bad boy Schwinn Model 223 has been ordered from Nautilus and should be here in a week or two. I’m going to re-arrange my living room a bit to make room for it there. I figure that way I can watch TV while I work out. ![]()

Hey, now that is a spiffy ride. I actually wish I had that for my knees, since I’ve osteoarthritis in them. How much does a nice Schwinn like that run, if you don’t mind me asking?

This model is $599 but Sears has the slightly older (but nearly identical) Model 213 on sale for $499 right now, and you’d probably get a better deal on shipping through them as well!

That looks pretty good! I love being able to watch TV & work out (LOL ~ yeah. Like I work out.)

Mine is in front of the TV also. Otherwise I wouldn’t last very long on it
