That pretty much summarizes my current state of mind… Blah! I am lacking motivation to do… well, just about anything. No good reason for it either. Ah well, I have a grab-bag of mini topics I’ve been meaning to catch up on.

Shephard blogged about photobooks from Shutterfly last week. They sounded so cool I had to try it for myself. The results are stunning! Having your own photos printed on archival-quality paper in a hard bound book is just amazing. I see more of these in my future without doubt.

Lori posted about an archive of 80’s video she found online. I’ve been spending what free time I have had lately combing through it listening to my favorites. Talk about a walk down memory lane! A throwback to the days when MTV actually played music videos… ah the good old days.

Shot a few new photos of Kiko while he was visiting with the kids this weekend. Kittens make great subjects! He was fascinated by my computer and spent a lot of time exploring my desk. More photos at Flickr!

Planning to head out of town this weekend. I feel the need for a little solitude on the open road so I’m doing a solo ride. Made reservations for a hotel room in The Dalles, OR for Saturday night. Just need to wander down there by some interesting route or other. The direct route is only four hours so I should be able to kill a full day taking back roads. I think I’ll thread my way between Mount Rainier and Mount Saint Helens. That means you’ll no doubt be forced to look at photos and video next week.
